Kokedama and the Art of Japanese Tea Tasting
Submerge into the Japanese world view of wabi-sabi by learning the basics of creating Kokedama string gardens, all while enjoying a traditional Japanese Tea Tasting with a 360 degree view of Amsterdam.
PLANTMOM's indoor plant care expert Monai McCullough will be joined by a Japanese tea connoisseur Giulia Uda. At the end of the workshop each participant will take home a hand made kokedama creation.
Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai, where a plant's root system is simply wrapped in moss and bound with string, transforming it into a unique sculptural art form that can elevate your home. ‘Koke’ means moss and ‘dama’ means ball.
